Three things in Daily Scrum

Broadcasting

Once the Product Owner accepts the work done by the team, one of the team members who were there during the acceptance of the work can announce. 

  • Work is done and accepted.
  • Where are we towards the Sprint goal? 
  

Boardwalk

When there is visibility about the progress is available for the team, then every team member knows what is expected out of them. They automatically work towards the team goal. The boardwalk is one of the ways to do Daily Scrum. 

 

In the boardwalk, one of the team members walks to the board and reads what happened since the last sync up. 



Pair Update

In Pair update, the developers update what they are working on and along with whom. In a PBI, more than one developer will work at a time and so one can collectively call out what is happening on that item. One person will update the progress on the item, which is in progress, along with the names of people who are working on it.

 Crafting a Sprint goal   The Sprint Goal provides a base for the team to negotiate the scope change that may arise during the Sprint. No changes would be made or accepted that would endanger the Sprint goal.
